Debra D. Panei has been promoted to executive director of St. Barnabas Charities.  Panei will be responsible for all St. Barnabas Charities fundraising events and activities.  She will oversee the operation of the Kean Theatre.

The Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) honored S. Joshua Szabo, M.D., of Tri Rivers Surgical Associates with the Stephen J. Snyder Excellence in Teaching Award at its annual convention in Orlando, Fla.

Kiya Tomlin, wife Pittsburgh Steeler’s coach Mike Tomlin, has moved her fashion design business into a shop, located at 11 Penn Circle West in East Liberty.

Lori Jones, has published the children’s book Riley’s Heart Machine.  It was written about her daughter who was born with a heart defect and had to have a device installed.
